I have many strong and emppwering women in my life, it is to them this poem is dedicated.

Born of fire and darkness
Primordial ooze in each sway of those hips
Tick Tock
Time stops inside your dance
All possibility
All void
All or nothing
Walking contradictions of feeling
And emptiness
Sacred woman
Of fire and darkness
Dance so the world may see and feel your power
Surrender not to him nor her nor them
But to you
To all that lay dormant within you
And birth this world a new
Sacred woman
We are waiting on you
